Dan Cruickshank: Bluecoat and Liverpool’s Georgian Buildings

Join us at Bluecoat for a talk with TV art historian and architecture expert Dan Cruickshank, known for his popular BBC2 series The Best Buildings of Britain and What the Industrial Revolution Did For Us. Much-travelled, Cruickshank is also noted for his highly successful cultural investigations screened as Around The World In 80 Treasures.

Cruickshank will give a talk reflecting on Bluecoat’s architectural history within the context of 18th century Liverpool and comparable Georgian institutional buildings. He will also discuss Bluecoat as an art centre and how buildings are successfully adapted to new uses.

The Dan Cruickshank talk is part of a series of heritage events taking place between Wed 6 - Sun 10 Sep
